Vila Vicencia - Funchal (Madeira)

Vila Vicencia offers a lovely garden oasis, though the breakfast options felt repetitive after a week.

It was a lovely stay for two wonderful holidays. The location was comfortable and absolutely perfect for walking around Jardim Panoramico. The area was very relaxing adjacent to the western outskirts of Funchal - a 30 minutes walk away, the most adorable lush garden, and a nice restaurant offering set menus at a very good price.

Unfortunately, my room was quite small for the price I paid, feel cramped, especially when navigating around. I faced challenges with finding parking as there isn't any on the premises. I also noticed a less than pleasant smell in the bathroom area that lingered despite attempts by the staff to address the issue.

The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions, while the gardens and both indoor and outdoor pools are quite fine. Breakfast offered good hot options daily, alongside a fresh home-baked cake that was a real treat. The bathroom fan was ineffective, causing humidity issues after showers, and the room's furniture felt somewhat dated. The shower, although functional, could use an upgrade to enhance the overall experience.

This place is such a chill spot! The garden is super relaxing, and the breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the fresh cooked cakes. The staff were friendly and sorted out our room switch in no time. Just a heads up, the street noise can be a bit much at night. But totally worth it for the vibe!

What a fantastic stay! The breakfast featured different cakes every day and the honesty bar concept is cleverly refreshing. I also loved the beautiful gardens, though the pool was a bit chilly. I'd definitely return!

Vila Vicencia is a lovely haven tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The gardens are fine, with blooming flowers and comfortable sun loungers. With both indoor and outdoor pools, there's plenty of room to relax. Breakfast is a delight with various hot dishes each morning and delicious homemade cakes that seem to magically appear overnight.

Good hotel with free Wi-Fi, a cute bar area, and both indoor and outdoor pools. I remember how staff helped me with bug spray during my first stay. I recommend trying the breakfast buffet. I'm coming back for a holiday.

The location of the hotel is very central, close to the bus stop from the airport and the sea with a well-kept lido area. the breakfast was rich, offering cheese, hot options, and mushrooms.

The place was clean with very helpful and excellent staff. I found the hotel's location quiet, near a large parking lot, car rental, Promenade Walk, and a bus stop into town.

Charming villa with a lush garden and colorful flowers. Older rooms have a lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the calm and quiet breakfast. Good quality food, possibly homemade. Relaxing pool area with indoor option. Nearby Dragon Tree restaurant is excellent.

The hotel's location was incredible, adjacent to the city centre. There is a secluded and well-maintained garden with lots of sub-tropical trees and plants. - the nice restaurant offers set menus at a very good price.
